Introduction
Lower Farm House is a 400-year old traditional Somerset farmhouse. Attached to the farmhouse are 2 holiday cottages with parking, we are situated at the end of a no through road ½ mile from Lympsham village.
One of our cottages (Horseshoe Cottage) is on one level. (Two small steps one up and one down in Hallway)
This access statement is just an introduction for you to assess your needs to enable you to enjoy your holiday. The site lends itself very well to the use of mobility scooters and wheelchairs.

Pre-arrival
Bookings can be made by telephone, e-mail at any reasonable time.
The nearest bus stop is ½ mile away in Lympsham village, with an hourly service to Weston-super-Mare or Burnham-on-Sea.
The nearest station is 5 miles away at Weston-super-Mare, Taxis are available from the station and we have provided telephone numbers to call a taxi from the cottages. We strongly advise that the bus service to Lympsham can be erratic and a car is highly desirable.
A The village shop is ½ mile away and other supermarkets are in Weston-super-Mare and Burnham-on-Sea.
An A&E hospital is available 4 miles away, and our very helpful GP is 2 miles away.
Arrival and Car-Parking
Keys are available from the owner on arrival at the cottage. Self Check in for late evening arrivals
There is parking directly to the right of the cottages signposted ‘guest parking’ with room for two cars (one per Cottage) on a level concrete and tarmac site within Lower Farm House grounds.
Please contact us if you require parking for more than one car for your cottage booking.
